Time-constrained predictive control with guarantees that survive mode transitions.
A core part of my research is the design of MPC controllers for switched nonlinear systems with biomedical applications. I developed time-constrained MPC approaches that handle the complexity of switched dynamics, with guarantees that survive the mode transitions.
These methods have been applied to epidemiological outbreak control, including optimal social distancing and vaccination strategies for SIR-type systems.
